Project Scope:
Enersev was responsible for upgrading all the systems DCS/ESD/FGS with the latest proven and approved commercial off Shelf (COTS) hardware and software including:
- Site survey, design, detail engineering, risk mitigation plans, all the change-over design and OEM document supply,
- Supply hardware and software
- Hardware installation, software configuration & upgrade, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and handover
- Support start up
- Training for operators and engineers
Goals:
- To upgrade the existing Foxboro DCS FCP270 to FCP280
- The existing workstation Windows operator system will be replaced with the latest Windows 10 and Server 2016
- To keep system security, reliability, and performance, risks under control due to the withdrawal of support for older releases of FCP 270
Results:
- Successfully upgraded FCP 270 to FCP 280 Controller: Total 8 Pairs
- Successfully upgraded DCS Workstation/Server Operating System from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2016:
- Successfully upgraded Tristation 1131 software to Version 5.0 for the ESD/FGS System
- During Plant starting up, all system was running smoothly and effectively
